Newsflash: Drinking coffee, 4 or more cups per day shown to decrease risk of stroke in women who also do not smoke!
Quit feeling guilty ladies, and maybe gentlemen. Medscape and yahoo news broadcast this finding this past week, I am sooooo glad! Everything in moderation, but doesn't it just make you feel good to know that your desire for coffee, while some may consider it a "vice" may actually be medicinal!
I do want to know one thing though, when I head south of Denver, I have a really hard time finding an espresso shop or stand. What's up? We have one or two within one square mile in any populated area. In the little town of Huntley Montana, there are 3 machines within 100 yards of each other. I hope this helps men as well, my husband knows the location of every "good shot" espresso stand within a 500 mile radius of Billings.

Thank you...I've always said coffee has to be good for me because I love it so :)
Do you think this will off set my drinking red wine?
No I think there's a study about that too! Coffee in the morning, green tea in the afternoon and wine in the evening: certainly a prescription for a long happy and healthy life. If this turns out not to be true, oh well, it's way better than no coffee, no tea, no wine.
As an avid coffee drinker, this is music to my hears. I love coffee so much, I named my new real estate brokerage, Real Estate Cafe' (with a coffee mug in my logo)!
Wanda I like the way you think if you find yourself in Central Ohio give me a call the drink will be on me.
If I go traveling, I will definitely be ready for an espresso shop, do you have those in Ohio? If not, I bet you have wine!
The Real Estate Cafe', I love it! we keep thinking we should buy a little burger joint, put in a coffee shop and serve Real Estate in a little town like Hobson or White Sulpher Springs. That would be so cool!
