I just listed a little log home right in the heart of the west end neighborhood of Billings Montana at 51 16th Street West!
This home is affordable, $130,000. Put your own touch of charm and character to all of this cozy wood interior! There might even be a good spot to locate that old wagon wheel you've been saving. This home was built in 1955 in an established residential location in the west end of Billings Montana. Centrally located, this little log home will provide an easy commute to downtown or westend shopping and schools (an elementary school is just a few blocks away).
The outside of the log home is stained light grey, the inside is in it's natural state. Everything is on one level, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath with a walk-in shower. Most of this home is handicap accessable. Large newer windows for lots of light, you will be impressed!
Off the laundry area, the original single attached garage has been turned into a workroom, or it could be used as a family room or office. Out the back door is a cement patio where you could lounge and have a barbq.
Another surprize is the detached studio! Many paintings were born in this room. This would work well for anyone who has a hobby, (I was thinking of quilting myself).
The corner lot is fenced with mature trees and underground sprinkling. There's plenty of room to put a touch of flowers in this yard.

Wanda: What a great looking home. I am guessing that with it being a log home, that with the thick walls, the insulation value is pretty good. I am sure this will make its new owner a very warm and inviting home. :) Hope you are well...
By the way... I just looked at the outside blog... and love the quote "Montana is like a small town with really long streets." Very cute !
Good to hear from you Karen Anne. I bet we measure distance much the same here in Montana as you do in Texas (long streets), I don't know how many miles from one place to another, I only think in hours or half days :) Of course it only takes minutes to get from one side of town to the other, unlike your larger cities!
Excellent post! Nice looking home! Beautiful Pictures! Good luck!
Thank you very much for sharing!
