Am I really the best judge? Maybe not, but it makes me happy to think I am.
- when I lose at Penokle, it's all about the cards, not the way I played them
- when I can't figure out all of the steps in the quilt directions, it's because it's late at night and I'm tired
- when I finish my husbands sentences, it's because he talks slow and I already know what he's thinking
- when a referee makes a mistake on a call and I correct him/her, I'm just trying to be helpful
- when I don't put my junk away, it's only so I know where to find things
I think I'm doing just fine, GET SMART!

Wanda, I've learned to be careful not to share my expertise with people, without being invited to do so. If not, they get resentful.
We all like to think we are smart and we all are just in different ways, we need to appreciate everyone on what they have to offer.
Wanda, I have found that most people that I think are really brilliant are the ones that say the least! I only wish that I would follow their lead! LOL
Andrew-you are so right, I find that letting people think some of my ideas were their ideas can make the day/deal go better!
Elizabeth--This is why I am always working to be a better listener!
Tony and Darcy-You guys look really happy! I wish those smarter people would come to coffee with me more, and speak up a little so I can absorb.
Uh-oh. Did someone get "Get Smart" recently? It's in my Blockbuster queue, but it looks like it's going to be awhile. Seems everyone else wants to watch it, too.
Russel, do you remember the old series? Maybe I'm just too old, but I loved it! Sometimes (not too often I hope) when I blunder into something and miss a big social clue I always think "Get Smart"
