This week has really enlightened me about why our healthcare can be so much more expensive as we get older.
#1 Husband tweaked his knee 3 weeks ago, while bowling with his nephews. It's not getting better, he thinks he might have to get it looked at. He's avoided going and having this checked (denial) because he is a truthful man, and sometimes the truth hurts. It'll just be plain embarrassing to explain this injury, especially since he spends a good hour on the treadmill 3 or 4 times a week.
#2 I sat down on the floor to tease my grandson into taking a little bite of food (fussy eater) and now I've got a strained hip. It takes me a full minute to start walking without a limp. I'm not going to the Doctor, I'm just gonna take some ibuprofen and pray.
At this rate, were thinking we'll hit our deductable before we have to file our income taxes.
